Talk to your pharmacist if you have questions about this information. • Uprima (Apomorphine) is usually given as an injection at your doctor's office hospital or clinic. If you will be using Uprima (Apomorphine) at home a health care provider will teach you how to use it. Be sure you understand how to use Uprima (Apomorphine). Follow the procedures you are taught when you use a dose. Contact your health care provider if you have any questions. • Uprima (Apomorphine) is for subcutaneous injection only. Do not inject Uprima (Apomorphine) into a vein. • Make sure you understand how to properly measure each dose of Uprima (Apomorphine) before injecting it. Ask your pharmacist for help if you are unsure of how to measure your dose. • Rotate sites where the medicine is injected. If this is not treated right away it could lead to permanent sexual problems such as impotence. Contact your doctor right away if this happens. • Do not suddenly stop taking Uprima (Apomorphine). Doing so may cause withdrawal symptoms like fever; stiff muscles; confusion; abnormal thinking; and fast or irregular heartbeat.
